Low fat Low GI yumminess...



Ok the pic isn't that tempting, however this lil ol' bowl of porridge is low fat, low GI, has protein (high thermic- this will mean something later if it doesn't now) and is slow energy release (ie feeling fuller for longer).  I am a night time snacker and this will stop me in my tracks, it is just oats water and raisins with a dribble of agave, low GI doesn't mess with your insulin and make you hungry later, but a touch of sugar or honey has to be better than the packet of biscuits and Pringles that might have been eaten other wise.
