More buying Wedding dresses...

I've posted before about my strange proclivity of buying wedding dresses.
Below is one of my favourite Christmas shoots by Tim Walker for Vogue, I thought about dying some of the dresses that I have been buying to achieve similar looks.  The dress above was £30 and it is pure silk.

  1. Oh I love big satin/silk skirts worn with a jumper, you'll have me looking at wedding dresses on Ebay now.

  2. I was just contemplating the realities of cooking a turkey in a wedding dress, but I am sure you have read 'Haute Couture in the Kitchen', it's been done before...

  3. I think it's a great idea, so glam! Not sure I would be buying wedding dresses to achieve the look though, I wouldn't have anywhere to wear them! Great pictures though x

  4. It's the weather, I'm definitely seeking out the glam, otherwise I would live in Uggs, jogging trousers and warm anoraks. I do admire the tenacity of the ladies I see in super skinny jeans a couple of fitted tops and a leather jacket flung over the top, very sexy, but FREEZING, did they not look out the window before they left the house?!

  5. There's a good chance that it's staring me in the face, but it's late & I can't see it ... HOW do I follow your blog?? Are you on bloglovin' or GFC? No point in following via She Said Beauty 'cos I know I'd keep forgetting to check it. Help!!! Helen (Must be getting alzheimers cos I thought I'd already followed you, but checked in now and realised I've missed loads of posts :( )

  6. Ha! That's a very good point, I was playing with my widgets and gadgets and removed the follow button! I will try to put it back, thanks for the reminder! You can also copy and paste the URL into your'ADD' button on your reading list, I always do it like that as it is quicker!
